For more than 100 years the name of WALTHER
stands for precision engineering. The foundation of the company
can be located in the year 1886 as a factory for gun and tool
manufacturing. In 1923 the first mechanical WALTHER calculating
machines were introduced into the market. In 1952 WALTHER
developed the fastest adding machine of the world and up to
today more than 20.000 encoders EC 33/EC 90, more than 3.000
document processing systems MCS 90/ MDT 100 and about 500
scanning systems have been sold.
Today the companies range of activities include
the development, manufacture and marketing of high precision
mechanical and electronic systems, combining the know how
of our skilled development specialists with the long experience
in the production sector.
